An "Authentication Failed" error occurs with Facebook login when the credentials of your game account and the credentials of your Facebook account don't match. This may be due to being logged in to multiple Facebook accounts, updating your Facebook to a professional/monetized/creator account, or because you recently changed your Facebook email. This error can also occur if you have previously logged into the game using Google login. If you recently changed your Facebook email or contact details:
- Open the Facebook settings.
- Revert to your previous Facebook account email.
- Log in to Atlas Earth.
If you recently updated your Facebook account to a professional/monetized/creator account:
- Open the Facebook settings.
- Revert to your previous Facebook account status.
- Log in to Atlas Earth.
If you have been logged in to multiple Facebook accounts:
- Log out of the game. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the app to force a log out.
- Sign out of all instances of Facebook in your browser.
- Uninstall the Facebook app if you have it installed.
- Clear your cache and browser history
- Log back in using the correct Facebook account.
If you originally used Google to log in:
- Click the "Other Options" button at the bottom of the login screen.
- Select the Google login option.
- Log in using your Google login.
