For the purposes of this game, the United Kingdom is mapped and treated as four distinct "countries": England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Each of those "countries" has its own land ownership leaderboards, and minigame matchmaking only occurs within each "country", i.e. players in Scotland will see a Scottish leaderboard, with no English, Welsh, or Northern Irish players on them. Additionally, each "country" has its own prime minister/first minster; there is no one prime minister to rule them all, so to speak.
